Community Grants that benefit the people of Dunwich

The Dunwich Town Trust also makes grants towards projects which benefit the entire community. These may be to village institutions such as the Jubilee Committee, or the Reading Room and Museum Charity; anyone can apply for a grant providing it is for the benefit for everyone in Dunwich.

If not to an individual in need, The Dunwich Town Trust is obliged to give grants only when the result would be for the public benefit - in this case for the benefit of the whole community of Dunwich. Generally speaking this means that institutions in Dunwich are best placed to offer something for the benefit of the whole village, like the Reading Room and Museum Charity, the Parochial Parish Council or the Jubilee Committee.

The amount of each grant, and any conditions, is entirely at the discretion of the trustees.
